Clear, Concise, Consistent Dispatches

The dispatch should be as easy to understand as possible. That is why Locution designed its audio database that is built with a complete, full word, natural voice. The inflections are natural. The pronunciations are the way you expect.

Dispatches Configured to You

Locution’s configurability is the gold standard for fire station alerting. Recognizable local landmark names can be used in place of long street addresses. Each agency and even each station can be configured to pronounce numbers they way they want, e.g. “One Hundred Twenty Three” or “One Two Three.” The order of the dispatch can be selected to what you prefer, e.g. Incident, then address or Address then Incident.

Alerts Configured to You

A leading tone and a color coded light can communicate critical information at the start of the audio dispatch. This saves time and can save lives. Locution PrimeAlert is configured so that the audio and visual alerts communicate what your station needs, such as EMS or fire or both, which units are being dispatched, incident type, or more.

Improving First Responder Health And Safety

Locution’s non-proprietary hardware architecture allows us to use the state of the art in audio and visual hardware. Ramped alerts and heart saver tones can be configured the way you want them to help you respond quickly and also to minimize the negative effects on your health. Directional speakers can be set up for both better clarity and also lower audio levels to reduce stress on your health. Our advanced zoning capabilities allow each to decide when to be awakened at night.
