Track B: For those interested in significant control of tones & voice
Advanced Tone & Voice Control – Glenn Neal
Class Description: Note that Locution basic tone setup allows tones to be defined and generated based upon stations and/or units on the call, in a one-to-one setup. Locution’s Advanced Tone Management allows users to define, via use of Boolean equations and Wild Cards, precisely which tone or tones are to be generated and what channel or or channels they are to be sent over. An example would be if the dispatch is for these two stations and these specific units and specific incident, but not these specific units, then generate the tone defined for, the present existing setup field for this unit or otherwise use this specific defined tone.
As more and more departments are combining their departments with others, this is often becoming an essential capability to operate separate agencies tone designations. New content since last year will additionally cover how to deploy and control tones over Motorola or Harris tone radio consoles.
